According to uncomfirmed reports reaching me this afternoon, thanks to my OAU friend Adaeze, a girl simply known as Oyin was caught trying to flush down her baby in moremi hostel.
Oyin a 400 level electrical engineering student was allegedly caught by hall cleaners. One of the women heard a baby crying saw blood on the floor and then rushed to call other cleaners. They forced the door open and voila! Òyin was pouring water into the toilet with the baby in it upside down and bleeding. They immediately grabbed the baby and called school management. Òyin and the baby were then rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
This one really gives me the creeps..what happened to foster homes and motherless babies homes???
